Blue I Gains New Ownership & Management

July 2015 – Blue I Water Technologies has announced that Effi Capital investment firm has acquired the company. Now holding full ownership, Effi Capital has also appointed Oren Blonder as the company’s new CEO. The acquisition brings Blue I Water Technologies unparalleled financial support and its executive management brings strong leadership and experience in the water industry.

Effi Capital has been a key shareholder in Blue I since January 2013. Since then the investment firm has been involved hands-on with the company’s strategy, development and sales. Blue I’s incoming CEO, Oren Blonder, has vast experience in the water technology industry. He has held senior positions in Memtech Advanced Membrane Technologies; Whitewater Technologies; the Agriculture, Water & Environment Department at The Peres Center for Peace; and the Andreas Agricultural Development Trust. “To me Blue I has always been an icon of Israeli innovation in the water sector. It is already a widely recognized brand around the world and I am honored to continue leading this amazing company into the future,” said Blonder. “I am inspired by Effi’s vision and confident that we will steer Blue I’s technologies well into the forefront of the industry worldwide.”
